2019 Alumni Heads & Representatives Gathering

The annual gathering of Alumni Heads and Representatives was held on 16 October at the K2 Compassion Restaurant located in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. This year we introduced Ms Bernadine Caruana, who is the new Counsellor for Education and Science in the Australian Department of Education & Science and Ms Srii Gunaseelan, who is the new Business Development Manager for Education in Australia Trade and Investment Commission. The MAAC President, Ms Pat PW Yeoh welcomed both invited guests and conveyed apologies from Ms Suvika Ambigapathy, who was not able to make it. Suvika is the Alumni, Research and Engagement Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade in the Australian High Commission. Pat explained briefly about the MAAC and the upcoming Gala Dinner in December. Srii was invited to introduce herself and explained her role & responsibilities. Bernadine was also invited to brief everyone on her responsibilities and how Australian Education plays important role in Malaysia. There were about 16 Alumni Representatives who attended this dinner gathering. The guests were served with a Thai food buffet spread. Everyone enjoyed the dinner and networking amongst those who attended. The event ended at about 10 pm after a group photo session. For photos of the event, please click here.
