Financial crime and sanctions risk: How hard is it to comply and compete? \nNew to this year’s event \nGTR Debating Chamber A new format unveiled at this year’s GTR Asia Trade & Treasury Week\, GTR’s Debating Chamber will incorporate a debate format whereby speakers will argue their viewpoints on key issues:\nDebate 1: Is the future of the global digital economy under threat?\nDebate 2: Do ICOs provide a potential new source of finance or reason for caution? \nWorkshops and breakouts Utilising smaller groups to make for greater engagement and interaction between delegates\, these extended sessions will focus on the following subject areas: \n\nNew trends in corporate treasury.\nFunds\, new finance sources and the distribution of trade assets.\nHow is the insurance market reacting to new trends?\n\nGTR Ventures Tradetech Showcase Competition This section of the conference will bring various start-ups together for a showcase competition enabling them to ‘pitch’ their business models\, strategies and activities to a panel of expert judges. \nSee you at the center or Asia’s financial event of the year! \nEVENT GALLERY

SUMMARY:Seminar on Issues in Enterprise Security Management
DESCRIPTION:EVENT DESCRIPTIONIn recent years the threat landscape to modern organizations has shifted dramatically. The range and the complexity of threats are increasing at such a rate that purely preventive measures will no longer be viable. In particular\, the motivation of malicious attackers towards financial gain and away from ‘bragging rights’ has become apparent. As a result\, ‘shotgun’ attacks that used to test large numbers of organizations for common vulnerabilities are being replaced by more selective strategies where individual “high-value” targets are pursued for longer periods of time. This presentation discusses trends in information security threats in the light of modern information security strategy. Key themes are information security culture\, security risk management\, etc. \n\n\n\nDate\nWednesday 26 July 2017\n\n\nTime\n4.00pm – 7.00pm\n\n\nVenue\nPIKOM Training Centre\nE-01-G\, Empire Damansara\, No 2\, Jalan PJU 8/8A\, Damansara Perdana 47820 Petaling Jaya\, Selangor.\n\n\nRegistration\nhttp://go.unimelb.edu.au/egr6\n\n\n\nDr Atif Ahmad is a senior academic based at the University of Melbourne.
