DESCRIPTION:EVENT DESCRIPTIONIt’s that time of year again but this year is a special year because The MAAC will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary. Therefore\, all the more to put on your best suit and evening wear to celebrate this significant milestone with a diversified range of alumni from various Australian universities. For those who are interested to purchase tables at the Gala Dinner and had not done so\, the details as follows: \nDress Code: Formal\nTicket Price: RM 2\,800 per table of 10\n(early bird – payment confirmation before 9th November 2019)\nRM 3\,000 per table of 10\n(from 9th November 2019 onwards) \nPlease complete this form for ticket purchase and advise if any of your guests require vegetarian or any special dietary requirements or allergies. \nAs we will be celebrating The MAAC’s 20th Anniversary this year\, apart from the presentation of the 5 alumni awards\, namely Distinguished Alumni Award 2019\, Young Distinguished Alumni Award 2019\, Young Entrepreneur Award 2019 and Community Achievement Award 2019 recognising exceptional Malaysians who graduated from an Australian university and have made significant contributions in various fields and to society over the many years\, and the Australian University Alumni Chapter Award 2019 recognising a registered alumni association or chapter in Malaysia that has increased awareness of the important role alumni play in strengthening the Australia – Malaysia relationship and demonstrating the lasting impact of alumni engagement programs\, The MAAC will also be launching it’s 20th Anniversary Commemoration Coffee Table Book\, titled ‘Of Wau & Boomerang: Nurturing Malaysian Talents Across Borders’. The book will feature 31 alumni from various Australian universities. \nThe dinner is a platform to gather Australian Alumni from all Australian universities to network as it is a preeminent social and networking event with many prominent Australian Alumni from various Australian universities attending. You will also experience the art of culinary prepared by the JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur and free flow of Australian wine along with an evening of fun-filled entertainment. \nThe Gala may be graced by DYTM Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail and DYTM Tuanku Hajjah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil\, Raja Muda Perlis and Raja Puan Muda Perlis respectively as well as His Excellency\, Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski AM\, the Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia and Patron of The MAAC. \nAbout 400 guests are expected to attend this annual sell out event.
