University of Wollongong Alumni Dinner 2015

Over 130 University of Wollongong Alumni attended a dinner at the Malaysian Petroleum Club in Kuala Lumpur on Friday 17 April 2015 to welcome new graduates from the UOW programs at INTI International College.  The event was hosted by UOW Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global Strategy) Professor Joe Chicharo, and UOW Malaysian Alumni Chapter President Sean Helena Hamzah.  The attendees were given updates on new University’s latest development in Australia.  Ms Sean also proudly announced that the UOW Malaysian Alumni Chapter is officially a registered Chapter in Malaysia.  She thanked everyone especially the University, for their continuous support to all of the events organised by the Chapter.  The MAAC was represented by Vice President of Alumni Relations, Mr Adrian Ong, Vice President of Bilateral Relations, Ms Nicole Lim and Councillor, Mr Jonathan Gan.  Everyone was treated to a sumptuous buffet of great food thereafter.

University of Wollongong Alumni also organised a reception at the Eastin Hotel in Queensbay, Penang on Sunday 19 April 2015 to welcome new graduates from the UOW programs at INTI International College as well as UOW alumni living and working in Penang.  Attendees were given updates from Dr Bill Damachis, UOW Director Transnational Education & Alliances, and Dr Michael Yap, INTI International College Penang Chief Executive and Principal.
