UTS celebrating its 25th Anniversary
In conjunction with UTS 25th Anniversary, an alumni reunion was held on Saturday, 22 June 2013 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The alumni reunion was hosted by UTS Vice Chancellor and President, Professor Ross Milbourne and attended by many UTS alumni in Malaysia. In attendance and representing The Malaysian Australian Alumni Council (The MAAC) was Mr Adrian Ong, Vice-President for Alumni Relations and Ms Nicole Lim, General Secretary. Also in attendance was Ms Susan Kahwati, the Senior Trade Commissioner of Austrade Kuala Lumpur.
In his speech, Professor Milbourne shared some the University’s new developments and projects on their campuses. To extend their appreciation to UTS alumni, Professor Milbourne informed that UTS will extend a 10% discount to all UTS graduates who are returning to UTS for further studies as postgraduate students and to UTS graduates whose children are studying at UTS.
The special guest speaker at the event was a UTS graduate, Mr Ng Khai Lee, CEO and Founder of Says.Com. Mr Ng shared his experience as a UTS student and was grateful that the program he undertook at UTS gave him the option to do an exchange program in the USA.
The University is planning to host a business seminar later this year. Don’t miss out on all of UTS’ events in Malaysia. Join the UTS Malaysia Alumni Chapter now.
